TTCL had launched its new brand positioning of the T-Generation with a new logo in line with the transformation to become a major mobile player and add mobile money to its portfolio. While T-Generation was a forward-thinking positioning, it did not resonate well nor did TTCL have a clear digital strategy as part of the re-brand.
Our approach was to re-connect with the history of TTCL and give it a modern twist. In looking at the customer insights we developed new Thematic, Rudi Nyumbani. Our campaign was digitally driven to drive awareness of TTCL’s new core service and making things possible with T-Pesa.
Successfully relaunch Facebook (5K to 55K followers), Instagram (0 to 15K followers), and Twitter (500 to 4K followers) Pages for TTCL. Working with Customer Care, digital became the go-to channel for customers by deploying call agents to focus on online customer interactions.
To date, TTCL has adopted the “Rudi Nyumbani” as its Brand Slogan.
CBA Bank had successfully rebranded to a new brand positioning across all its markets in Tanzania. Jackson Group was tasked to localize the brand while following the new brand guide hence the need to establish brand awareness across Tanzania.
Additionally, CBA Bank needed to grow deposits amongst the SMME segment in Tanzania hence focusing on traders in major hubs across Dar es Salaam.
Jackson Group developed all materials in line with the brand and adopted the communication for radio and Outdoor advertising.
Additionally, Jackson Group developed a “Deposit and Win” campaign and was responsible for managing the communication including public relations for the 6 month campaign which had monthly winners.
